Our Story Dalwhinnie Farms LLC is owned by Kathy and Dave Hansen and is located in Winlock, Washington We are five minutes from West of Interstate 5, halfway between Portland, Oregon and Seattle Washington. Our focus is on raising quality registered Black Angus as well as AQHA Show Horses.  Our current herd sire - B A F Belvedeere #15687245
Our farm was originally a Christmas tree farm before we purchased it in 1995. We had the arena and barn put up, and started replacing trees with pasture, new fencing, etc. I don't think it will ever end. We designed and built the working corrals for the cattle with Dave doing the all the fabrication. (He's a master with welding/iron; but will destroy a piece of wood!). Dave is gone for months at a time. He's a consultant up in the Arctic for Alaskan companies on different jobs...the last few years he's been on a job in Barrow, Alaska working on an airport strip renovation/update. He's gone for most of the Spring, Summer and start of Fall...thankfullycontinually making our place easier to maintain, I think that's why it's a never ending transformation here. In his "spare" time he has been rebuilding and restoring a couple of Chevrolet cameo pickups (a 1957...which I call "mine"; and a 1958...which is "his"...). His '58 is in pieces in the shop. He's been working on these for 6 or 7 years now... Visitor's Always Welcome... Thanks - Kathy
